That statement saying how there aren't any true friends is true. There maybe associates that do alot and talk to them sometimes. However, it's force friendship, that can even tear perfect friends apart. And yes when you are DF'd no such thing as friends.

kind of nervous at the moment.. i'm one of the jehovah's witness kids that is looking for the whole truth.
i go to the meetings and have my own problems with the organization but i do believe in alot of it's beliefs.. since i got that out the way i wanted to see what other people think about the newer jehovah's witness teens.

It's hard sometimes. The super youths sometimes do things that are just dunno. Lol ya know the most favorite movie in young and old Jehovah's witnesses is "Shawshank Redemption" they always get in big groups and watch it. Even the elders. Weird..

i put this in humour, but it makes me want to vomit hard
by in a new york bethel minute ini receieved this "poem" from some witness chick who sent it as a forward to myself and a whole bunch of other dubs.
my sister received it from someone else and i have other friends who received it from other sources.
im sure every young witness who has email has received it by now, and it's the most sickening, disheartening thing i have seen in a long time.

I have never seen a happily married JW couple. The most tame I have seen is my mother and father yet they are still yelling at each other at times and solving their problems with a "prayer to God" and saying"let's forget about them". That's how they handle most of the problems, forget about it and pray to god.
That's what scare me most.. I've been a JW for all my life and my developing period is getting pretty short, I guess I'll become one of those crazed JW husbands.
I do believe in submitting to your husband, thing is you should submit to your wife also lol 50/50.

The reasons for not going to war in the JW religion is messed up, but still I won't go to war lol. Love mankind too much I guess. Ain't going to go and kill another man that did nothing to me. He has a family and friends just like me don't want to take them away, so if there is a draft I'm going to fight my best to try to not go. Of course my congregation will take that as a faithful way of glorifying God. kind of weird I love human beings more than them yet they claiming me.

Ya you can not win. If both sides can't listen in an arguement nobody can win. Say what they want to hear, that's just what my brother is doing. "I want to be an active Jehovah's Witness however, I am still going through alot of personal problems and I am pleading with Jehovah to help me through them." He's a good liar.
Sad thing is I never really seen Jehovah answer ANYBODIES prayers, except the obvious ones. "Help my son through this sickness." I just had a common cold. "OH ITS A MIRACLE THANK YOU JEHOVAH!" The freakin robitosin helped better than jehovah did... crazy parents.

Yeah well Kind of late for that drug stuff. I've already learned my lesson with that. Anyways, yeah it is crap, however the thing i hate most is that I actually care about most of the people in my congregation and plenty of other people. So it's hard to just come up and say i hate them all and just run away cause I can't so It's gonna be a hard next few years.
Least I got the people here to help me out.

Witness Gathering
by Descender inwell, i went to my first witness gathering i'd been to in probably 7 years this last weekend.
i know, who goes to a witness gathering when they haven't even gone to the hall in 2 years?
well, it was a wedding shower type thing for one of my close family members and i was asked, so i decided since i had nothing better to do, it would be a fun look at the other side, and i wanted to know if i was past all that witness lingo and guilt.. i really didn't know very many people at all there, but i do have to say, i'm past it.

by candidlynuts ini'm a 39 yr old woman who was raised in the truth.
i had a wonderful happy childhood and have the best parents anyone could ever want.
i was one of 7 kids , my parents are elderly now and try to attend what meetings they can i have 2 sisters and one brother still in the truth and one sister on the fringes.

Yes I am new here also glad to see other newbies like myself lol. I have seen nothing but compasion in this forum, greater than I ever had in the organization or in the "world" but heh these people are in the so called "world" so I guess it's better than the crap hole that I've been living through. We all have problems, the true challenge is the way you're gonna handle those problems. I'm kind of starting to love problems, gives me more solutions to figure out.

Man I wish she was my girlfriend. She is just a friend that I have known for a good 8 months, we are like family now. She still doesn't know much about me, how could she? I can only talk about how spiritual I am, not me personally.Still she is so free spirited even though she has been in the organization since birth, that has to be something special. So ya I find most of my inspiration from reading old literature. If only my parents knew what I was reading, the books they bought me were so risque, metaphorically mostly but my mind can wonder into some pretty sensual things.
However seriously, why is the governing body so old? I know most JWs are cooks but come on... I wouldn't let them drive me a block away from my house let alone tell me how to live. Like having a 3 year old explaining to me how to please your women.
I'm paranoid at the moment twitching at every little sound that comes from the house cause my parents might see me on a "apostate" message board and instantly assume I am a psycho, witch, sexual pervert, demon possessed, murderous, suicidal, Knight in Satan's service associatin, homosexual, (They actually named these things about my brother behind my back.) person who thinks about nobody and loves nobody. I'm callin my brother again right now even though I called him 45 minutes ago.
